notonthehighstreet.com will be introducing QlikView® across its entire business in order to gain a more holistic view of its business and increase the speed and ease of reporting.
The online marketplace will also be introducing Qlik® Sense to enable more in-depth data visualizations to help identify potential growth opportunities.
Notonthehighstreet.com was founded in 2006 as a platform to take the UK’s best, small creative business to a global audience of design hungry consumers and has grown steadily, now featuring in excess of 170,000 unique design led products. The marketplace aims to handpick outstanding small creative businesses and designer makers, bringing them together in one place, making it easy for customers worldwide to browse and buy unique bespoke goods.
By using QlikView, the company will be able to speed up business processes and streamline its increasing reporting needs, making it faster for them to get insight out of the vast amounts of data the site generates. This will also enable them to offer support and advice to partners in a timely fashion.
Notonthehighstreet.com will be rolling out QlikView to all employees in the organization and will be used across a variety of functions. In order to arm staff with the ability to answer strategic business questions, they will be using QlikView to develop over eighty dashboards, specifically designed to support individual data requirements.
In addition to deploying QlikView, notonthehighstreet has also purchased visualization platform Qlik Sense for its core data team, who will use it for more advanced data analysis on a self-serve basis – enabling them to create easy to understand visualizations and drill further down into datasets to identify potential operational efficiencies, as well as business opportunities.
Andrew Edge, Head of Data at notonthehighstreet.com says: “We chose to implement Qlik solutions over other BI tools because they were so intuitive. QlikView now plays a crucial role in delivering easily consumable data for all our staff to use to perform in their day-to-day roles. We’re also really excited at the prospect of introducing Qlik Sense to provide our organization with in-depth data analysis to drive the business forward and help spot new opportunities in the market.
